In the past, Senators have often gone on to other influential positions within the Association–from Commission Director to ASUW President. Leadership within ASUW is no easy task and is a step in the right direction for those aspiring to public office in the future.

Notable alumni include Washington State Solicitor General Noah Purcell, United States Congressman Norm Dicks, and two Washington State Attorneys General, Robert McKenna and Robert Ferguson.
