A Bill to Add New Seats to the Student Senate

WHEREAS Student Representation is a desired goal for the Student Senate, and

WHEREAS the following groups have completed all necessary steps to receive a seat in the Student Senate,

BE IT RECOMMENDED BY THE ASSOCIATED STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON STUDENT SENATE:

THAT Article III, Section I, Subsection A be amended to add a part that reads, 'One seat shall be allocated to American Institute of Architecture Students,'

THAT Article III, Section I, Subsection A be amended to add a part that reads, 'One seat shall be allocated to Amnesty International,'

THAT Article III, Section I, Subsection A be amended to add a part that reads, 'One seat shall be allocated to End Sanctions Against Iraq,'

THAT Article III, Section I, Subsection A be amended to add a part that reads, 'One seat shall be allocated to HuskIPAC,'

THAT Article III, Section I, Subsection A be amended to add a part that reads, 'One seat shall be allocated to Polynesian Student Alliance,'

THAT Article III, Section I, Subsection A be amended to add a part that reads, 'One seat shall be allocated to Students for Choice at the University of Washington,' and

THAT Article III, Section I, Subsection A be amended to add a part that reads, 'One seat shall be allocated to Terry Lander Hall Council.'
