A Resolution in Opposition to Racism at the University of Washington and the Loss of Innocent Life

WHEREAS, we as human beings have the duty and the capability to bring justice those people responsible for the atrocious acts of September 11th without the loss of one more innocent life, and;

WHEREAS there has been an increase in racist and hateful actions on our campus and in our nation against the Middle-easternand Muslim communities as a result of recent events following September 11th.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSOCIATED STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON:

THAT the students at the University of Washington do formally oppose all and current and future Racism that has been centered lately on campus and at the Middle-eastern and Muslim communities and along with any further loss of innocent life.
