A Resolution In Support Of Cake

WHEREAS, since the beginning of time, cake has been enjoyed by all, and

WHEREAS, it is important that the members of the Student Senate enjoy the sweet taste of cake, and

WHEREAS, the Student Senate Orientation needed an important piece of legislation to be an example of parliamentary procedure, and

WHEREAS, state money cannot be used for the purposes of eating, and

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSOCIATED STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON:

THAT, it is the official opinion of the Student Senate that it be given a cake on the final meeting of the Sixth Regular Session.

THAT, an alternate sugar-free cake be provided for those who are unable to have sugar.

THAT, this cake be funded by those on high...... namely our blessed advisors.
